Zero Hungry Kids Can Help
It may seem unimaginable that in a thriving city like Calgary, many families struggle to put food on their tables, or have to send their children to school without a proper well balanced meal. In Calgary alone, around 5000 children go without during the school day. Zero Hungry Kids was built to help combat this problem and to support other local community initiatives with a common goal - to nourish our youth while they are learning. This is not just a local problem. In every community across Canada there kids are going to school hungry, without access to a healthy breakfast and a nourishing lunch. We started in Calgary but we are working hard to support our neighboring communities and we need your help.
Zero Hungry Kids’ is committed to making an impact in our communities through our charitable initiatives. Our “Fill The Fridge” program was created to put much needed healthy and nutritional resources in our schools. Filling a fridge with milk is an excellent way to nourish our young students and support there educational needs.
We achieve this goal through the support of through our charity fundraising initiatives. Through our fundraiser’s, and partnerships with sponsors and schools to make sure milk and healthy meals are provided to every kid who needs them. We are committed to changing this. We are committed to Zero Hungry Kids!
